The Trust supports schools, teachers, projects and programmes that are committed to enhancing physics teaching and learning.

The Ogden Trust offer school partnerships. The Ogden Trust School Partnerships programme offers funding and support to groups of schools in England that are committed to enhancing physics teaching and learning.

The Ogden Trust offer a free Subject Knowledge for KS3/4 Physics Teachers (SKPT) CPD programme.

They offer Early Career Teacher Support, by way of the “Teaching Core Physics” and “Developing Physics Specialism” programmes.

EngineeringUK are a not-for-profit charity that drives change so more young people choose engineering and technology careers. Their strategy is based on a mission to enable more young people from all backgrounds to be informed, inspired and progress into engineering and tech. They run National Events to encourage young people to consider a career in Engineering like Tomorrow’s Engineers Week, The Big Bang Fair and the Tomorrow’s Engineers Live conference.

Science across the city is a Stoke-on-Trent opportunities area initiative designed to raise the profile of primary science, support strategic development of primary science, engage professional learning communities in key current issues in primary science and to connect schools to additional resource and wider opportunities through the STEM landscape.

The initiative seeks to narrow the gap in opportunities between different schools such that every child experiences child led, enquiry led science for success.

The JCB Academy was the first of a brand-new kind of school in the UK when it opened in 2010. Bringing engineering into your classroom couldn’t be easier with this annual cross-curricular STEAM competition from Primary Engineer. It’s fully-funded for all UK schools and home-educated groups and asks pupils aged 3-19 the question ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?’.

These booklets from the Royal Air Force Youth STEM team invite you to find out more about Spitfire AA810 through a series of engaging Science, Engineering and Maths activities with a History theme which you could include in your school’s curriculum. The booklets are available for Key Stage Two and Key Stage Three. Each booklet is linked to the National Curriculum. Spitfire AA810 is a project dedicated to the memory of all the men of the Photographic Reconnaissance Unit who risked, and gave their lives during the Second World War so their story will not be forgotten.
